Crossing the Line is a fictitious arts festival. I created this poster while experimenting with type and image integration, keeping a set of constraints in mind: (1) The poster must include the name of the festival, (2) the poster must include at least one image, and (3) type and image cannot touch or overlap. I took inspiration from the name of the "festival," creating a crosshatch with my image. The letters respond to the height of each slice so that although they don't touch, they still interact and unify the composition.
